Finding the balance in knowledge is a good way to exercise our rights as citizens.

July 12th, 2009

This is usually the way an encounter with a legal issue is handled in a County Court House. It is your word against the law enforcer. Is it also reasonable to think that in a court of law, the side of the officer’s word is taken over a citizen’s. Hope here would be to have a witness, or cam to document “what really happened?” Look at what just happened in New York in “Brothers Accused of Selling Drugs” link here: This situation probably would have been grim for the two brothers had they not asked the local bar owner for the surveillance tape which cleared them. Also if you are stopped, arrested or have a front to front encounter with a law enforcer do you get any news worthy attention? We give those citizens who do exercise their rights our greatest praise. Looking for stories that have a favorable legal ending!! THAT’s justice and getting the word of knowledge out! Thank you for your comment!!

It Takes Time

October 11th, 2008

We are still monitoring the case of the Citizen from Indiana. We have no news good or bad. This citizen is hoping for a plea so that he does not have to pay for a jury trial. We will write news as we have the public information to post. Again thanks for your support!

More on the Indiana Citizen

August 5th, 2008

Good comment, and I would like to expound on this thought. We try to ride the balance of the sides.

In this case as we read it, the police (DNR) did have a right to go onto Mr. Crowley’s property to investigate. Mr. Crowley was very cooperative with the Officer. It appears that because the Officer’s initial encounter was sometime around 10:30pm then it was after Midnight when he made an arrest, he very possibly violated this citizen’s IV. Amendment.

We stand firm with this citizen that he has a right to go to court and defend his constitutional rights. The implied consent law on OWI needs to be looked at here. Mr. Crowley was accused of failing his field Sobriety test. If you don’t agree to take the test, you automatically lose your Driving License. Mr. Crowley did lose his driver’s license. It was automatic. I believe he told us he lost them for 180 days.

We don’t judge, we just encourage due process to look at the facts.

Indiana Citizen Charged With 4 Class C Misdemeanors

July 25th, 2008

Our Web Site Wants to Inform You.

We have permission to let the public know about an Indiana farmer. On his own property 275 yards from the road, sitting in a vehicle in his bean field, police drove onto his property and questioned him as to what he was doing.

After this Citizen told them what he was doing including that he was protecting his livestock, checking his electric fence, and locating coyotes, the Police Officer charged and arrested Jonathan Crowley. Mr. Crowley informed the DNR or CO that he was on private property.

This citizen had 2 beers after he came home from work just after 7:30 pm. This whole investigation process took from 10:30 until he was arrested after midnight. Mr. Crowley was out on his farm to fix the electric fence keeping his livestock in. He worked all day at his normal job at the local auto parts store. Rainy, cold and mid Nov., 2006 he was making his rounds checking on his livestock during bad weather.

The officer charged him with 4 class C misdemeanors two of which were related to owi. (operating while intoxicated).

Jonathan Crowley wants to claim his Constitutional Rights. He is with his 4th Attorney and still making payments to a prior firm that helped him protect his rights. We will update the story as we watch it make its course.

Thank you for reading and your support. We hope to offer this story as to what can happen if you don’t have the resources to fight for your rights!

4th Amendment “The right of the people”

August 28th, 2007

The Declaration of Independence was drafted in 1776. Why? A good question. We hope to impress upon the public how sincere we are at 21st Century REP Squad, Inc. about the balance of the Constitution. Our forefathers and mothers sacrificed many with their lives for us to have freedom within our United States. From the Constitution a NEW NATION WAS BORN. Heard that before? Of course you have. The REP Squad “REASONABLE EXPECTATION OF PRIVACY” Squad hope to be a part of making sure everyone knows how important to keep our freedom as “OUR balance”. We read many many stories about infringement of ones rights. We will be posting more and important information about the “right of the people to be secure in their persaons, houses, papers and effects as time goes on. We’ll keep you updated.

Sincerely,

The Squad

Our Beautiful Fourth Amendment

July 24th, 2007

We at 21st Century REP Squad, inc. are about ready to accept “true links” to pages that the public should be aware of. We are going to make it our mission to get the word out there that “what you read” may or may not be “what really happened”. However keep in mind there is 3 (three) sides to a story, yours, their’s and the truth. We lean only to the balance of the law. Has your rights of privacy been violated? It keeps everybody in check. Let us know your story and remember we do have the right to privacy.

Sincerely,

The REP Squad going Nonprofit!
